Hearts of Oak Majority Shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV, has announced that the newly constructed secretariat at the club’s Adabraka location will now serve as the commercial center for the team.
During a handover ceremony attended by top officials including Executive Chairman Togbe Afede and Managing Director Vincent Sowah Odotei, the state-of-the-art building was officially presented to the board.
In a statement to the media, Togbe Afede emphasized the importance of utilizing the commercial value of the club’s brand. He stated, “What we have today will remain our commercial center, again a demonstration of our commitment to ensuring that we exploit as much as possible the commercial value of the brand that we are building.”
The Phobia House, as it is known, is described as an ultra-modern facility and will house various offices of the club. This marks a significant milestone for Hearts of Oak, as they become the first team in Ghana to have such a centralized business center.
Despite a challenging season last year, Hearts of Oak are optimistic that these infrastructure developments will inspire them to success in the upcoming season. With a new commercial hub in place, the team is looking to strengthen their operations and enhance their revenue streams in order to compete at the highest level.
