NETFLIX is producing a warts-and-all documentary on Robbie Williams, chronicling his 25-year music career.

The Angels singer, who is now a married father-of-four, will also have his personal life examined, including his numerous relationships and breakups.

Robbie, 48, has battled alcoholism, substance addiction, and other personal troubles since he rose to popularity as a member of the boyband Take That.

“He’s at a point in his career, over 25 years in, where he’s really willing to sit down and reflect on what’s been an insane journey with the British public and he’s really willing to ‘go there,’ not just to talk about his music and his success but also his addictions but also his battles with mental health,” Netflix documentaries boss Nhelesh Dhand said at the Edinburgh TV Festival.

“We present a hitherto unseen version of Robbie Williams.”

“It’s the tale you believe you know, but not the person.”

The biopic, which will be available on the streaming site next year, incorporates thousands of hours of video footage taken by filmmakers since he rose to prominence as a solo artist.

The project’s team includes filmmaker Joe Pearlman, who earlier directed the acclaimed music documentary Bros: After the Screaming Stops.

A snippet from the documentary was aired at the TV festival yesterday, and it included a video of Robbie sitting nude and pontificating about the meaning of life.
