In the past few days, rumours concerning a purported feud in the BHIM Nation camp have been spreading like an inferno on social media.
According to the rumours, the relationship between the CEO of Burniton Music Group, Stonebwoy Burniton and his manager, Mohammed Sidi, popularly known as Blackk Cedi has turned sour.
Sources have provided a number of reasons for the deteroriation of their relationship, with the leading reason being that Stonebwoy is unhappy about how Blakk Cedi is excessively concentrating on promoting Kelvyn Boy.
According to radio presenter and blogger, NYDJ, Kelvyn Boy was never officially signed to the Burniton Music Group. Reports indicate that Kelvyn Bwoy was rather signed and managed by Black Arm Group, a label owned by Blakk Cedi.
The talented Afrobeats artiste only managed to gain a rapport with the BHIM clan courtesy the efforts of Blakk Cedi. Stonebwoy therefore decided to support Kelvyn Boy owing to his rapport with Blakk Cedi.
This revelation suggests that there was no official contractual relationship between Kelvyn Boy & Stonebwoy, and extensively, the Burniton Music Group record label. However, through Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy offered to gratuitously support Kevyn Boy.
This also suggests that Blakk Cedi’s over concentration on Kelyvyn Boy is apparently motivated by the returns he solely gains purportedly for focusing on managing Kelvyn Boy to the extent of neglecting his duties as required of him towards Stonebwoy. This development is what Stonebwoy is reported to be unhappy about, since he views it as detrimental to his interest and the label’s interest at large.
According to Joy News, Black Ceddi is also being accused of allegedly mishandling Stonebwoy’s funds.
Rumours of the split between Stonebwoy and his manager have been given more credence following reports that although Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy are usually on tour together, the former is already in Ghana while the latter is still in London for the Shuga Tour.
There are reports that the duo has already parted ways.
Few days ago, it also emerged that Stonebwoy had unfollowed Kelvyn Boy on Instagram. After the unfollow, the Tuff seed hitmaker’s next post suggested the artiste he had helped is being ungrateful.
The incident has ignited another host of rumours of Kelyn Boy failing to acknowledge the push Stonebwoy has offered to develop his career.
The parties involved in this alleged feud are however yet to officially comment on these emerging issues.
