NDC to officially outdoor Naana Opoku-Agyemang as running mate april 24

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is gearing up for the upcoming December polls by officially introducing its running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).

According to a statement released by the party’s Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, the ceremony is intended to highlight the NDC’s dedication to inclusivity and forward-thinking leadership as they prepare for the upcoming elections. The NDC expects the event to be attended by key figures within the party, including former president and current flagbearer for the 2024 general elections, John Dramani Mahama.

In addition to party members, members of Parliament, and distinguished guests from various sectors such as the Diplomatic Corps, the Clergy, Women Groups, academia, Civil Society Organizations, Labour Organizations, and the Creative Arts industry are also expected to attend.

During the event, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will address the nation on the NDC’s vision for a progressive, inclusive, and prosperous Ghana. She will also shed light on the transformative policies put forth by their visionary Flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.
