The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is gearing up to officially introduce its presidential running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, for the upcoming 2024 general election.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the prestigious Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium located at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
In a press statement released on April 16, the National Communications Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, confirmed the details of the event and emphasized the importance of this official unveiling. The occasion is expected to be attended by the party’s flagbearer for the 2024 general election, former President John Dramani Mahama, as well as members of the Functional Executive Committee and the Council of Elders of the party.
Additionally, the event will be graced by members of Parliament and a diverse range of distinguished guests from various sectors including the Diplomatic Corps, the Clergy, Nananom, Women Groups, academia, representatives of Civil Society Organizations, Labor Organizations, and the Creative Arts industry, among others.
During the event, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will address the nation on the NDC’s vision for a progressive Ghana and highlight the transformative policies proposed by Mr. Mahama for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
