On Monday, March 20, the NDC has scheduled to deliver the (True State of the Nation’s address.
In our findings, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, who is the well-known Chairman of the NDC, will deliver the keynote address at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA).
By default, the ‘True State of the Nation’s Address is expected to counter that of President Akufo-‘State Addo which was aired on Wednesday, March 8.
According to our extensive search this address in question, which will be delivered under the auspices of the party’s National Communications Bureau, is expected to be heavily focused on the economy and the factors that have pushed the country to seek an IMF bailout.
Meanwhile, the Minority in Parliament claims that, contrary to government claims, Ghana will not be able to secure IMF board approval by the end of this month (March 2023).
According to the NDC,( largest opposition party), the government has not been able to meet the financing requirements and assurances for the bailout, which include the board documents.
