Christians who are in favor of the national cathedral have yelled at Sam George. Some support the cathedral and others do not.
And because the NPP government is currently in power, it is assumed that these groupings of people are NPP supporters. Sam George, who identifies as a Christian and loves Christian morality, does not feel this way.
Sam George made a great observation about the cathedral today, and those who pay attention to him have learned where he comes from.
“As an elder of a church and as a Bible-believing Christian, we on this side are not against the building of the National Cathedral” – Sam George
He supported all of these assertions by citing a text from the Bible that states, in plainer terms, that anyone who begins a task but is unable to complete it is foolish because adequate planning and resource allocation were lacking.
He mentioned that “And this is what the bible we believe in says to us-
“In Luck 14 vs 28 said, “Is there anyone here planning to build a new house (In this case a Cathedral) who doesn’t sit down to figure the cost so you know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money you are going to look pretty foolish everyone passing by will point fun at you, that you started something and you couldn’t finish”
He received encouragement from his fellow legislators for providing a unique concept of proper planning and implementation of how this Cathedral in the Ghanaian parliament.
