NDC doesn’t have the moral right to talk about ‘dumsor’ – Miracles Aboagye

The spokesperson for Bawumia’s Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has come out swinging against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in response to their criticism of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) management of the recent ‘dumsor’ crisis.

Aboagye has boldly stated that the NDC has no moral authority to discuss the issue, considering that ‘dumsor’ persisted for 10 months under the NPP, compared to the 7-year ordeal experienced during the NDC’s governance.

Expressing his disbelief at the audacity of the NDC to address ‘dumsor’, Aboagye questioned where they got the energy to speak on the matter after putting Ghanaians through such hardship for 7 years. He emphasized the NPP’s commitment to transparency and accountability, contrasting it with the NDC’s alleged deception during their tenure.

Aboagye pointed out that the NDC attributed ‘dumsor’ to force majeure or acts of God, promising to fix the issue while in power. He criticized their tactics as being built on lies, fabrications, and confidence tricks, stating that their character and nature remain unchanged. The NDC’s leadership, including flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman, were also targeted by Aboagye.

Describing them as experienced in “running the country down” in terms of unemployment, education, and healthcare, Aboagye did not hold back in his criticism.

He accused them of ignoring the poor, leaving hundreds of thousands of children unemployed, building classroom blocks in remote areas, and collapsing the National Health Insurance Scheme.
