In response to a member’s threats of electoral violence, the Ashanti Region leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is currently meeting.
The Ashanti Region Police Command has issued a wanted statement for Alhaji Mustapha Alhasan, the party’s Constituency Organizer for Manhyia South, in response to his controversial comments.
Alhaji Mustapha Alhasan is shown in a widely shared video vehemently opposing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and threatening to use violence if they try to rig the elections.
In the video, he even suggests that in order to ensure the triumph of John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, there may be violent clashes, even if it means using lethal force.
As for the NDC leadership in the Ashanti Region, they are responding to the Central Command’s Crime Office’s request to introduce Mustapha Alhassan.
They have stated that they plan to present Alhaji Alhasan for additional examination on Tuesday.
