Mizero Ncuti Gatwa is an actor. He became famous after he starred in the Netflix comedy drama series, Sex Education in 2019.

Born on October 15, 1992 in Kigali, Rwanda, Ncuti Gatwa is a Rwandan-Scottish. His family escaped from the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Tharcisse Gatwa, his father is a journalist.

He grew up in Edinburgh and Dunfermline and then graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2013.

Ncuti Gatwa is currently filming the romantic comedy film, Barbie. In 2022, he was nominated for the Best Male Comedy Performance in the BAFTA Television Awards.

He will be the first Black actor to be on Doctor Who starting October 2022.
