Tata Sons Private Limited, the holding company for the Tata group, is governed by Mr. Chandrasekaran as the chairman of the board. His nomination as chairman came after a 30-year career in business with Tata Consultancy Services, where he started as an intern and rose through the ranks to become the CEO and Managing Director.
He was appointed to the International Advisory Council of Singapore’s Economic Development Board in 2018 and the Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India in 2016 as a Director. The India US-CEO Forum is co-chaired by him as well.
