Cheddar Denies Reports of Buying Ghana

Founder and Leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has refuted claims circulating in the media about his alleged intentions to buy Ghana if not elected.

Two news portals, Ghanaweb and Pulse Ghana, had reported that Cheddar expressed his ambition to purchase the country if he does not secure victory. According to the reports, he was quoted as saying, “If I create a million millionaires and take 10% from each person, I will definitely be richer than the country, so be careful. Ghanaians might not want me today, but when I return, I will be back to buy the country.”

However, in a video posted on his Instagram page, Cheddar clarified his statement and debunked the reports, calling them false narratives aimed at defaming him. He explained that his actual intention was to empower a million millionaires who would contribute 10 percent of their wealth to fund projects in the country, not buy it outright.

Addressing the issue, Cheddar said, “Please, I do not have the money to buy the country. All I have is the courage, wisdom, blessing, and talent to help move the youth and women in the country. That is how I want to be remembered.”

He went on to urge the media to focus on promoting his vision and plans for Ghana, emphasizing that his goal is to uplift and empower the youth and women in the country. Cheddar highlighted that during his regional tour, he outlined various projects and initiatives aimed at fostering development and growth.

As the controversies surrounding his alleged statement continue, Cheddar remains focused on his mission to make a positive impact in Ghana and create opportunities for its people.
