Shatta Wale might have set a new record in Ghana music industry – because a copy of his album was purchased for a whopping USD 2,000,000.

According to one of his staunch fans and producer of his ‘Reign’ merch, Aaron Jay, aside from the first copy of the album going for GHC 150,000, another big purchase was done.

Aaron, who has a direct link to the Shatta Movement Family label, took to Facebook to claim that the CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited and Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah purchased a copy of the album for 2million dollars.

He also claimed Shatta Wale’s friend and business partner Solash of Solash Entertainment purchased a copy of the album for GHC 100,000.

Aaron made the statement, shading Shatta Wale’s rival Kwaw Kese in the process.

“NAM 1 bought the Album for 2million US dollars and sledge bought it for 150,000. The list goes on and on. Solash 100,000… Kwaw Kese, what’s up?” he wrote.

We at Ghanafuo.com cannot confirm this report but considering how Nana Appiah is ‘dusted’, literally, he is likely to purchase the album for such an amount.

The “Reign” album concert took place at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Saturday, October 15 and saw over 20,000 fans, according to report.

The question people keep asking is, what happens to the thousands of Menzgold customers Nana Appiah Mensah owes?
