Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has reacted to Nana Ama McBrown’s decision to exit from Despite Media (UTV) to Media General (Onua TV/FM). According to the actor cum host, his colleague isn’t foolish to exit UTV.
On March 13, 2023, many Ghanaians woke up to the news of the Celebrated Ghanaian actress being unveiled as the new face to join Media General’s Onua TV/FM.
As usual, she was the talk of the town. Ghanaians reacted to the news as they share their thoughts on the big move by the Kumawood actress.
Some colleagues from UTV after hearing the news of the actress’ exit from the media house did not take it cool as they react to the news by tagging her as disloyal.
The likes of Ola Michael and Kwame Nkrumah, who are all employed by Despite Media, claim that irrespective of Mcbrown’s lack of formal education, UTV management helped shape who she is now.
Despite the critics, Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has come through for the actress as he reacts to the news sighting that Nana Ama is not foolish to exit UTV.
According to him, he doesn’t see the need for some employees of Despite Media attacking her for his decision seems most media personalities move from one media house to others regardless of where they started.
“Do you want to tell us that Nana Ama is not sensible enough to exit from UTV regardless of the good treatment she is receiving from the media house?…. sometimes we shouldn’t be quick to judge. Is Nana Ama that foolish to exit regardless of her good treat?” He said that in the local dialect.
“We all came to work as presenters, so why does Nana Ama’s decision to exit from UTV become a big deal for her colleague presenters,” he said.
“Let’s think through this, we all work for someone, and I’ve decided to leave why must that be a big deal.. You may have moved from one media house to another and I might start from where I moved why must that be your problems to even go on air to tag me as disloyal..” he added.
