NaCCA introduces a QR Code scanner for textbooks

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has released a QR Code Scanner to verify the authenticity of educational resources, such as teacher manuals and textbooks, that are sold in stores.

The NaCCA is committed to improving effective and high-quality education delivery, and the QR Code Scanner is in keeping with this goal. The pre-tertiary level (KG 1 to SHS 3) is where learning results are most important.

The educational community, parents, publishers, educators, and schools can all use the QR Code Scanner to instantly find out if an instructional resource has been approved by the National Council for Curriculum Accreditation (NaCCA).

Several unauthorized materials that are circulating in the market and falsely claiming “NaCCA-GES” approval with seals are another reason why NaCCA advised the public to take vigilance.

NaCCA is dedicated to fostering accountability within the education sector, and this QR Code is a testament to that commitment.
