Mykal Walker (born August 28, 1997) is an American football linebacker for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons (NFL).
Walker attended Azusa Pacific University for two seasons before transferring to Fresno State.
He had 91 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5 pass deflections in 2019. Walker had 182 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, 10 pass defenses, and 6.5 sacks in two seasons at Fresno State. Walker was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection, as well as the Mountain West Conference Football Championship Game’s Defensive MVP. Walker’s 40-yard dash time was 4.65 seconds.
Malyk Walker is Mykal Walker’s twin brother. Their father, Michael, was a Fresno State Bulldogs football player who later joined the New England Patriots but never played in the NFL.
Michael died in 2012 from colon cancer.
Mykal Walker had his first child, a son, in December 2021. Maurice Jones-Drew, a former NFL running back, is his cousin.
