The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, completed his tour of the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday June 5 with a focus on engaging with the youth.
Recognizing the importance of the youth as the nation’s most crucial resource, Dr Bawumia highlighted his youth-centred policies aimed at empowering them through education, skills training, and creating more job opportunities.
Taking to his Facebook page, Dr Bawumia expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the youth, the warm welcome from traders at CMB in Accra, and the residents of Adabraka who welcomed him into their homes during his house-to-house interactions. He thanked the people of Greater Accra and expressed his confidence in the possibility of positive change.
Throughout his tour, Dr Bawumia also engaged with traders in various parts of the Central Business District and interacted with residents in Adabraka. The interactions allowed him to connect with the people on a personal level and listen to their concerns and aspirations.
The tour highlighted Dr Bawumia’s commitment to reaching out to different segments of society and listening to their needs and feedback.
