Reggie Rockstone, a veteran Ghanaian artist, has spoken out about the challenges he faces in his career, particularly when employing Ghanaians.
He stated that the main difficulty he is dealing with is his employees’ dishonesty in financial matters, which has resulted in a tremendous catastrophe for his firm.
He added that he has implemented strict procedures to combat the problem, but some of his employees continue to misuse the system and earn money unlawfully.
During an interview with UTV on the GhanaWeb-monitored Atuu show, the presenter, Abeiku Santana, questioned, “Some time ago, you were talking about Ghanaian worker attitudes. “How are you dealing with it?”
Reggie said calmly, “My wife gets upset when we talk about this issue.” Employees steal a lot as part of the challenge. Even as we speak, someone is working on it. We’ve put procedures in place, but they’ve also discovered a method to thwart them. We have even placed CCTV cameras, yet they find a method to do it [take money].
His company, Rockz Waakye, has locations in Accra, Cape Coast, and other regions of the country.
