Despite the negative perception associated with celebrity marriages, Ghanaian singer Becca considers her marriage to be one of the best decisions she has ever made. She married six years ago.
She views her union with businessman Dr. Tobi Sanni-Daniel as a boon since it has allowed her to become a better version of herself.
The mother of one claimed that marriage has changed her view on many parts of life, including her music profession, and made her more responsible and conscientious in a conversation with Graphic Showbiz on Tuesday, January 30, in Accra.
The Daa Ke Daa hitmaker expressed gratitude for the beneficial effects her marriage has had on her personal and professional lives, saying, “Now, I think things through before reacting, and calmer than I used to be. I now see things more clearly and have a different outlook on life. I’ve also improved my patience and compassion. My marriage has truly helped me evolve, and I’m content with who I am”.
She acknowledged that it’s difficult for any pair to have a successful, long-lasting marriage when asked how she manages her job and marriage, a dilemma that plagues the majority of celebrity marriages.
She has, nevertheless, managed to balance her obligations as a wife and mother, not to mention her desire for popularity and a successful job. She attributes their ability to keep a good relationship to their deep love and bond.
When asked if she believed that keeping her marriage secret had helped it last, Becca answered she didn’t think so. “My marriage hasn’t been secretive; it’s not intentional. True, my spouse is a more reclusive individual, but he still cares deeply about my work. I believe the motivating factor is our close bond.
