Ghanaian dancehall great Shatta Wale has broken his silence following the shooting report.

He was yesterday, October 18, 2021, reportedly shot by unknown gunmen at East Legon amidst heavy rainfall.

His PA, Nana Dope, broke the news yesterday the incident and claimed Shatta Wale was at an emergency ward.

Soon after, Ghana Police Services released a statement initiating an investigation into the shooting incident.

The Police said Shatta Wale was nowhere to be found after they combed through his house and hospitals.

Upon sighting the Police statement, Shatta Wale has finally spoken about the incident.

He claims hitherto the statement by Prophet Stephen Akwasi who said Shatta Wale will be shot precisely on 18th October 2021, he is in a mood of danger since no one cared in the country.

He is also disappointed in the Police for failing to recognize the life-threatening threats and prophecies online to take action.

“The statement made by this false prophet has gotten me in a mood of violence since no one in this country cares. So the police of this country want to tell me none of them saw those threatening statements online to take Action? This pastor said 18th October shatta wale will be shot and you want to tell me you didn’t see from your cybercrime department nor did u hear or came across anything like that online? “ Shatta Wale wrote on his Facebook page.

Shatta Wale also claims he’s going through emotional trauma.

This he believes, is not the first time his life is threatened in the country.

Shatta Wale insists that he will never stay silent for the Police to announce his death to his father because Ghanaians care so much about deaths and funerals.

I won’t wait for Ghana police to call my father and tell my father, his son got shot this afternoon, I won’t wait for Ghana stupid media houses to spread the news to my fans about me being shot because all we wish in this country is for dead people and funerals. If my life can be threatened and there is no law to take actions on that then I guess I will do what is right in the eyes of God. This is not the first time I have had these threats in this country am now I am going through this emotional trauma alone,” he added.

The “Ayoo” singer confirms he is indeed ok the run until the laws in Ghana work.

He concluded by apologizing to his father, Deportee, Nana Dope, and his fans.

He assured his fans of fighting alone until he gets things done.
