The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has unveiled his 2024 Presidential Campaign slogan as “It is possible”, reflecting on the grace of God in his life’s journey.
In a meeting with the Christian Clergy in Goaso in the Ahafo Region, Dr. Bawumia shared his story of starting from humble beginnings in the north, working in the UK and Canada to fund his education, and eventually rising to become Vice President of Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized the role of God’s grace in his success, stating, “Surely it is by the grace of God that I am where I am today, as Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP. The trajectory of my life shows that God can grant His grace to anyone, regardless of their background.”
The choice of “It is possible” as his campaign slogan is significant to Dr. Bawumia, as it signifies his belief in the power of God to make things possible. Despite facing doubts and challenges prior to his election as NPP flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia remained steadfast in his faith, stating, “By the grace of God, it is possible for me to be elected President.”
