#MyAdvice – It’s about time!

So, yesterday, we were all thinking about ourselves and probably some were looking forward to the “Reign” album becoming the talk of the town this weekend and then boom, King Sark dropped a bomb on us. LOL.

Have you listened to it yet? I mean who am I asking. Almost everyone in this country – and even outside the country has listened to it. But did you really listen to the lyrics carefully to catch all the sense Sark spewed in there – and the shade? The ‘My Advice’ bomb has really blasted the ‘Gringo’ stable. LMAO!

Sarkodie really did snap, didn’t he? People keep saying it looks like Sarkodie vexed but I actually think he was not at all mad, he just realised it is about time he told a brother he was going wayward and he needed some ‘advice’. Indeed!

But really, it’s about time. I mean, only one person has issues with almost everyone in the entertainment industry. Why? Like, why does a person find so much interest in just attacking people and their personality for no apparent reason?

He could do great collaborations with all these acts (Samini, Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, Kwaw Kese) he has issues with and drop some mad bangers for us. And, y’all will be winning together but no, Shatta Wale just got to have to be ‘Shatta’ all the damn time and have issues with everyone – unnecessary ones at that.

What did Sarkodie do to him, though? Maybe I missed that part. I’ve been asking and trying to get it. But then what does anyone do to him actually. In the video where he went live and insulted Sarkodie, I heard him talk about Sark’s interaction with the president…politics? Since when did being an artiste take away someone’s right to be a citizen of his/her country? Even journalists who are supposed to not be partisan are biased these days.

This is what Kwaw Kese was talking about. He preaches oneness and togetherness but then this same person will end up insulting the same people he wants togetherness with. *sigh*

We all loved the friendship between Shatta and Sark. I personally loved the two of them together and how silly they both could get, but now, look, that cool friendship has probably burned with the ‘Gringo’ stable. Just because you had to be you.

Sarkodie really said no lie in that freestyle for real. It is about time Shatta put his focus on the important things and stopped all these irrelevant beef he has been creating. If he doesn’t focus, who will Sark give the keys to when he retires? LMAO! (I am not saying that Sark said it in his rap).

If he continues like this, soon, no one in the industry would like to mingle or work with him. Yes, as an artiste, controversy is sometimes good but too much of ‘bad’ controversies can also take a toll on you – but what do I know.

One would think as a mainstream artiste, y’all will leave these kinds of unnecessary attention to the up and coming but no! Sark did say if social media presence makes one relevant, no one would feature Mugeez and it is true.

I really do admire his (Shatta) smartness and business mind towards his craft but sometimes his behaviour gets too much and gets on nerves. Sark really did throw a lot of advice in that rap and I hope it will fall in the right ears.
