Cletus Seidu Dapilah, the member of parliament for the Jirapa constituency, has offered 100,000 as a reward for the assassination of Eric Johnson, the CEO of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel.
The MP claims that the money will be awarded to anyone who provides reliable information that helps the police solve the murder case.
This comes after Mr. Johnson is said to have been killed over the weekend in his private home.
Since then, seven people have been taken into custody by the police about the incident.
Speaking to JoyNews, Mr. Dapilah said there are still a lot of unsolved questions regarding the peculiar circumstances surrounding the murder of the late Eric Johnson.
“The Villa didn’t have any broken windows or doors, and the door to his room wasn’t broken either, so this is something for everyone to consider and wonder who could have gotten in without breaking any of the windows or doors.”
“I will give a reward of «100,000 to anybody who will give us meaningful information to conclude the investigation so we can unravel or arrest the murderers.”
Nicholas Soyiri, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jirapa, expressed optimism that the business mogul’s killers would be apprehended.
Despite being devastated by the event, Mr. Soyiri says he has faith in the legal system.
