Movlud Suleymanli dies at 80: Cause of death and obituary information

Azerbaijani prose writer, dramatist, screenwriter, and film adviser Mövlud Süleymanlı died. He was a member of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers from 1980 and was an honored art figure and the vice-chairman of the “Azerbaijan Television and Radio” limited company.

Mövlud Suleymanli was born on March 18, 1943, in Kalinino, Armenian SSR, USSR. He began his creativity with “My Hands”, a poem published in an Azerbaijani Youth newspaper in 1964. In 1974 Movlud Suleymanlı was awarded “Qızıl Qalam “ ( Golden Pen ) of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, alleged to paramount role of broadcast in the promulgation of Azerbaijani folklore, ethnography, language, and family life.

Mövlud Suleymanli won the “Qızıl qələm“ (Golden Pen) award of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, and the All-union literary competition in the name of Maxim Gorky, with his first book published in the Russian language in Moscow.
