Ghanaian counsellor, Charlotte Oduro, has highlighted the issue of sexual dissatisfaction among married women as a major cause of unhappiness in marriages.
In an interview on Accra based Okay FM, she discussed how hormonal imbalances can lead to women expressing anger over trivial issues.
Oduro emphasized the importance of women being able to communicate their sexual needs to their husbands. She pointed out that many women who are unhappy and constantly angry may be experiencing sexual dissatisfaction but struggle to communicate this to their partners. This can lead to a cycle of unhappiness and misunderstanding in the relationship.
According to Oduro, women who are able to openly discuss their sexual needs with their spouses are happier in their marriages. She encouraged women to cultivate the habit of communicating their desires and preferences when it comes to intimacy.
Overall, Oduro’s message underscores the importance of open and honest communication in relationships, particularly when it comes to issues of sexual satisfaction. By addressing these needs openly, couples can build healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
