In 1963, Dee was born in Brooklyn, New York. She attended South Shore High School as well as Canarsie High School.
She graduated from Georgia State University with an associate’s in nursing. In 1996, Dee was engaged in a car accident that left her confined to a wheelchair for three years.
Dee, who was crippled and unable to work a regular job, turned to pimping and drug dealing to support her family. Under the alias “Lady Dee,” she ran a brothel for ten years.
