Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is full of praise for the club’s newest addition, Mohammed Camara. The 24-year-old goalkeeper has signed a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, joining from Soar Academy.
Camara is the tenth signing for the Ghanaian giants in the current summer transfer window, along with the likes of Emmanuel Antwi, Albert Amoah, and Elvis Kyei Baffour. He is also the fourth player from the African continent to join Kotoko this window.
Ogum believes that Camara’s talent and skills will make him a valuable asset to the team. The coach praised the goalkeeper’s agility, quick reflexes, and ability to command his area, stating that Camara is a perfect fit for the team.
The goalkeeper made 26 appearances for Soar Academy last season, showcasing his talent and experience. With Camara’s addition, along with fellow goalkeepers Frederick Asare and Fatao, Kotoko now boasts a solid goalkeeping group.
After a disappointing performance last season, where Kotoko finished sixth on the league log, the club is eager to make amends in the upcoming season. Camara’s arrival brings hope for a stronger performance as the Porcupine Warriors aim for success in the new campaign.
