Miodrag Jesic was a Serbian football manager and player who died on December 8, 2022.

Miodrag Ješić played for Partizan, Altay SK, Trabzonspor, and Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig. He was nicknamed “Kasap Yeşiç”, which means “The Butcher” during his playing career. For the Yugoslav national team, he played in eight games and scored twice.

Partizan scored 111 goals in a single season, a club record, under Aleksandar Ješić. Voted coach no. 1 for season 2004–05 by Bulgarian sports newspaper. Left Partizan in 2006 following a disappointing first half of the season.

In June 2008, he signed with Romanian Liga I newcomers CS Otopeni. On 22 September 2009, Al Ittihad won the Libyan Super Cup, beating Tarsana 3-2. On 24 June 2012, he was named as Saudi Professional League side Najran’s new head coach.

Jei was named the team’s new manager by the Saudi First Division League club Al-Shoulla on July 7, 2022. After 5 games on September 29, 2022, Jei was fired.

Miodrag was married to Irena. Jei and his wife Irena had a daughter together. His daughter Jelena lost her life in a car accident in 2001 while he was the coach of CS Sfaxien. She was just 19 years old.
