Former football player and later football coach Miodrag Jesic was killed in a fatal auto accident.
The former Partizan head coach was killed in a traffic accident in the southern part of Srem, between Ruma and Jarak.
The incident happened in a seclusion of Jarak village. Long queues of automobiles started to build on the main road, so traffic was redirected.
We learned that the truck driver informed the police that he “couldn’t avoid a Citroen that flew under” despite only suffering minor injuries.

The police stopped traffic at a roundabout on the road to Sabac, which was only three kilometers from the scene of the terrible accident where Miodrag Jesic died.
His car allegedly had to be towed to Ruma, according to speculations. Cleanup has been done in the accident site’s vicinity.
