Minjee Lee attended the Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, where her high school golf team competed on Spyglass Hill. She won the California Women’s Amateur Championship at the age of 12 and went on to win it four times.
Then, at the age of 17, she won the US Women’s Amateur Public Links and committed to Duke, one of the country’s top women’s golf schools. Throughout that period, her instructor was Cypress Point’s famed pro-Jim Langley.
