The 24-year-old Min Woo Lee is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He turned professional at the start of 2019 after a successful amateur career. He won the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open and the 2021 Abrdn Scottish Open.

Min Woo Lee has an elder sister known as Minjee Lee. She is 27 years old and was born on May 27, 1996, in Perth, Australia. She is also an Australian professional golfer. She currently competes on the U.S based LPGA Tour.
After Lee won the 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur, the siblings became the first brother and sister pair to win the USGA’s junior championships, Minjee Lee having won the U.S. Girls’ Junior in 2012.
According to Min Woo, “Her work ethic is tough and she works so hard. She goes through all the drills and that’s one thing I’m trying to improve. When I feel tired, I would stop. Her perseverance is amazing as she sticks with something that she needs to do and finishes it off. I love that about my sister which is her normal character and her golf character.”
In 2010, Lee became the youngest winner of the WA Amateur Open while still a year 9 student at Methodist Ladies’ College, Perth. At the start of 2012, she was moved from MLC to Corpus Christi College, to be closer to her golf course at Royal Fremantle. She left Corpus Christi in 2013.
Lee was the winner of the 2012 U.S. Girls’ Junior. She won the Australian Women’s Amateur in 2013 and successfully defended the title in 2014.
Lee became the number one ranked amateur golfer on 26 February 2014 after winning the Oates Victorian Open on the ALPG Tour. She remained the number one ranked amateur golfer until she turned professional in September 2014 after leading the Australia team that won the Espirito Santo Trophy.
