On February 19, 2004, Robert and Kelly Brown welcomed Millie Bobby Brown to Marbella, Spain. Of their four children, she is the third. Millie’s parents, who saw her ability at a young age, wanted to give her the finest chances to succeed as a singer.

Robert told Daily Mail: “My other children would watch cartoons, but Millie watched musicals – Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Annie, and Bugsy Malone. She’d belt out a tune. She was performing from day one.”

Millie’s parents sold all they owned in the UK and relocated to Hollywood in order to give Millie the opportunity to showcase her talents. The family, however, faced financial difficulties because Millie was unable to secure a work and they were unable to remain in the US.

They had to move back to UK to stay with Millie’s aunt.
After this, the little girl had wanted to give up acting, but her parents persisted in supporting her.

After her audition for Stranger Things while still living in the UK, Millie was cast in the lead role, launching her into international celebrity and inspiring her to move back to the USA.
