Miles Teller (born February 20, 1987) is an American actor best known for his roles in Whiplash as jazz drummer Andrew Neiman and Top Gun: Maverick as pilot Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw.

Teller made his feature film debut in 2010 and rose to prominence for his roles in the 2013 coming-of-age film The Spectacular Now and the Divergent film trilogy (2014-2016), both of which he co-starred with Shailene Woodley. His breakthrough role in the 2014 Academy Award-winning drama Whiplash gave him widespread acclaim. Following Whiplash, he established himself as a leading man, appearing in a number of romantic comedies, as well as the superhero film Fantastic Four (2015) and the 2016 biographical films War Dogs and Bleed for This.

Teller appeared in the action film Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. The film was directed by Joseph Kosinski, with whom Teller previously worked on the film Only the Brave (2017). They collaborated once more for the Netflix film Spiderhead (2022). He has appeared on television in the Amazon crime drama Too Old to Die Young (2019) and the Paramount+ miniseries The Offer (2022) based on The Godfather.

Teller appeared in a number of short films between 2004 and 2010. He made his major film debut in Rabbit Hole (2010) after Nicole Kidman handpicked him for the role after graduating from Tisch School of the Arts in 2009. Teller first appeared in the stage musical Footloose in high school, and then in the 2011 remake film of the same name. In 2013, he co-starred in 21 & Over and The Spectacular Now with Shailene Woodley.
