Michelle Wu parents: Meet Han Wu

Michelle Wu is an American politician who has served as the Mayor of Boston, Massachusetts, since January 2021. She was born in the year 1985.

Michelle Wu, however,  received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Prior to her tenure as mayor, Wu was a civil rights attorney at the firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

With regards to her level of education and acquisition, she worked as an assistant district attorney for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

In 2018, Wu ran for City Council in Boston’s District 4. She was the first openly transgender person to win election to the Boston City Council.

As a councilor, Wu focused on addressing housing inequality, mental health, and economic development in the city. She does the most good work, as expected.
