Michael Ross Schofield III, an offensive lineman for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League, was born on November 15, 1990. (NFL). In the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected him. At Michigan, he played collegiate football.

When he was younger, Schofield enjoyed playing baseball, but he often accompanied his younger brother Andrew, who preferred to play football. In the sixth grade, he began playing football for the Orland Park Pioneers. He was a wide receiver and linebacker in seventh grade. He switched to linebacker as a sophomore at Sandburg High School. He received a special mention and was chosen for the 2008 Chicago Tribune All-State team by the time he was a senior. On February 4, 2009, Schofield signed a contract with Michigan’s head coach Rich Rodriguez.
