Michael Jeffrey Jordan is a former professional basketball player and businessman from the United States. “By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time,” according to his biography on the official National Basketball Association (NBA) website.
He played in the NBA for fifteen years, earning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan is the major owner and chairman of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets as well as the NASCAR Cup Series team 23XI Racing. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he was instrumental in popularising the NBA around the world, becoming a global cultural icon in the process.

Michael was blessed with wonderful parents. They are James Raymond Jordan and Deloris Peoples. His mother is a close friend and person with whom he can put his trust. She was born in the family of Edward Peoples and Inez Weeks in September 1941. Deloris grew up in Rocky Point, North Carolina. She attended Rose Hill Charity High School.

James was born and raised in a North Carolina village. His parents are William and Rosa Jordan. He had four siblings. Mr. Jordan Sr. worked at the General Electric plant. For many years he was married to Deloris Peoples. They raised five children, including a basketball legend Michael Jordan. The late James Raymond Jordan and his son Michael shared many interests. While working on a crucial task, both shaved their heads and stuck the tips of their tongues. They were quite close and trusted one another.

Michael Jordan once got married to Juanita Vanoy-Jordan in 1989. However, they divorced in 2006. He then got married to his current wife, Yvette Prieto-Jordan in 2013, and they are still living happily together. The couple is blessed with 2 wonderful twins; Ysabel and Victoria Jordan.
