Who better to grace the cover of the NBA 2K franchise, which turns 23 this year, than the greatest No. 23 in history?
According to a Tuesday announcement from 2K Sports, Michael Jordan will be the face of the Michael Jordan Edition and Championship Edition of NBA 2K23.

Beginning on July 7, the two editions will be accessible for pre-order.
According to 2K Sports, further 2K23 information, maybe involving other cover sportsmen, will be revealed on Wednesday.
Prior to this, Jordan was featured on the covers of NBA 2K11, NBA 2K12, and NBA 2K16.
The only other player to have appeared on the NBA 2K cover as frequently as Jordan is Allen Iverson.
Iverson was on the cover of the first NBA 2K, which was a Sega Sports offering at the time.
The first five iterations of the game featured “The Answer” on the cover.
