The Rams selected Brockers in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft as the 14th overall pick. He was the first defensive end to be drafted that year. Michael agreed to a deal worth $9.52 million with the Rams. The deal also includes a signing bonus of $5.36 million.
After almost a decade with the Rams, Brockers was traded to the Detroit Lions for a 2023 seventh-round pick. He inked a new three-year, worth $24 million with the Lions.
