At the town of Banda-Nkwanta, which is located on the Bole-Bamboi route in the Bole district of the Savannah area, a guy who is thought to be mentally challenged has killed four people.
The culprit, only known as Daganaa, went on a murderous rampage that left four local residents dead.
According to reports, the unfortunate episode started at around three in the morning when Daganaa, who had arrived at a nearby galamsey site to offload stuff, asked permission to use the compound house’s restroom.
He became enraged when the tenants refused to let him in, so he stabbed one of them in the back before escaping to a different compound nearby.
There, he allegedly attacked two youngsters, ages ten and twelve, after forcingfully entering a room where they were sleeping.
He also inflicted his harshness on their grandmother, who was weak and immovable.
Daganaa continued his onslaught and went to another home, stabbing a second individual who was sleeping in the compound’s entryway.
The culprit barricaded himself in a room and threatened to kill anyone who dared to approach after being confronted by the terrified residents.
Residents reported the incident to the Bole police headquarters for assistance due to the worsening circumstances.
Two police officers were forced to reply with firearms as Daganaa launched another vicious attack on them, killing him in the process.
Four people had died by the time the tragedy, which lasted for hours, and the elderly grandma suffered serious injuries.
At Bole’s Carpenter Hospital, she is responding to her treatment. The deceased have been buried in line with Islamic customs in the meantime.
