Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan is a British broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality.

Piers Morgan was born Piers Stefan O’Meara on March 30, 1965, in Surrey. He was born to Vincent Eamonn O’Meara, an Irish dentist from County Offaly, and Gabrielle Georgina Sybille, who raised Morgan Catholic.
His father passed away when he was 11 months old and his mother later married Glynne Pughe-Morgan. His stepfather was a Welsh pub landlord who later worked in the meat distribution business. He later took Glynne’s surname.
Morgan has an older brother named Jeremy who is older than him by two years. Growing up, he attended the independent Cumnor House prep school, Chailey School, and finally Priory School, Lewes, for his sixth form education.
He later worked at Lloyd’s of London for nine months. Following this, he attended Harlow College where he studied journalism.
