She is a widow who has been married once. She was married to stockbroker Ian Donald Cameron. The couple tied the knot in 1962 and were happily married until Ian’s death in September 2010.
Together with her late husband, they welcomed two sons and two daughters who have been identified as Alexander Cameron KC (1963–2023), David Cameron (born 1966) Tania Rachel (born 1965), and Clare Louise (born 1971).
