Who are Shania Twain’s siblings?

Shania Twain was born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario. She was one of three daughters born to Sharon and Clarence Edwards and has two sisters named Jill and Carrie Ann.

Her parents got divorced when she was two years old and her mother remarried Jerry Twain. Jerry was an Ojibwa from the nearby Mattagami First Nation. Together, Jerry and Sharon welcomed a son named Mark.

During her half-brother, Mark’s toddler years, her mother and stepfather adopted Jerry’s baby nephew Darryl when his mother died. In addition to this, Jerry adopted Twain and her sisters, legally changing their surname to his in the process.
