Samuel Mark Gordon (born March 14, 1957) is the 33rd governor of Wyoming, taking office on January 7, 2019. He previously served as state treasurer as a Republican; then-governor Matt Mead appointed him to that position on October 26, 2012, to fill the vacancy left by the death of Joseph Meyer.
Gordon, the son of Catherine (Andrews) and Crawford Gordon, was born in New York City. Gordon’s father grew up in Lincoln, Massachusetts, on Drumlin Farm. His parents married on October 27, 1945, at Kennebunk’s First Unitarian Church before relocating to their ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming, in 1947.
Meet Mark Gordon’s (governor) children Anne, Aaron, Bea, and Spencer
The Wyoming Governor has 2 children (Aaron and Spencer) with his ex-wife and two children (Anne and Bea) with his current wife, Jennie Gordon. Unfortunately, there is not much information with regard to their personal life or identity. We shall get it updated as soon as we discover it.
Meanwhile, Gordon defeated Democratic government representative Mary Throne in the Republican primary on August 21 and the general election on November 6. Gordon debuted on January 7, 2019.
A New York Times investigation in 2021 revealed that Gordon had been targeted by hard-right conservatives such as Susan Gore, the legatee to the Gore-Tex empire. Following this incident, Gore funded undercover spies who targeted Gordon.
