Hollywood legend Donald Sutherland is known not only for his incredible acting talent but also for his romantic relationships.
After his divorce from Shirley Douglas, Sutherland found love again with Francine Racette, who was also involved in the film industry.
The couple tied the knot in 1972 and welcomed three children into the world – sons Rossif, Angus, and Roeg. Racette, who hails from Quebec, Canada, has appeared in both American and French films, showcasing her acting skills.
Some of Racette’s notable film credits include Four Flies on Grey Velvet, Lumière, and Les Vilaines Manières. She also co-starred alongside her husband in movies such as Alien Thunder and The Disappearance before retiring from acting in the 1980s.
Sutherland, who sadly passed away on June 20, 2024, after battling a long illness, also had two older children from his previous marriage to Shirley Douglas – Kiefer and Rachel Sutherland. Douglas and Sutherland divorced in 1970 after four years of marriage.
