Although his three children refer to him simply as “Dad,” Al Roker is a well-recognized weather forecaster. The NBC personality is a loving father to Courtney, Leila, and Nicholas.
Al and his first wife, Alice Bell, have a daughter together, Courtney. The former couple, who had been married since 1984, had a daughter in 1987. They did, however, divorce, which was formalized in 1994, after they had already split up.
Shortly after splitting from Alice, the Today host started dating fellow journalist Deborah Roberts. After three years of dating, which began in 1992, the couple was married in 1995.

Courtney, Al’s oldest daughter, was born in 1987. The brunette beauty spends the majority of her life out of the spotlight, despite the fact that her father has been making weather predictions for decades. Al’s April 2020 announcement of Courtney’s engagement to Wesley Richard garnered media attention.
Nick, Al’s youngest son, was conceived in July 2002. The caring father described his experiences raising his son, who is “somewhere on the [autism] spectrum and possibly obsessive-compulsive,” in a personal essay he published for Guideposts magazine in 2019.
Leila, the second child of the Wake Up With Al alum, was born in November 1998. According to her LinkedIn, Leila studied journalism at The American University of Paris in France where she received her college degree. She works for Today.
