American professional wrestler and actor Cody Garrett Runnels Rhodes, formerly Runnels, was born on June 30, 1985.
He presently has a contract with WWE, where he competes on the Raw brand. He is also well-known for his stint in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he held the positions of inaugural and record-tying three-time TNT Champion and executive vice president from 2019 to 2022.

He legally changed his name to Cody Garrett Runnels Rhodes when he was a teenager. Rhodes wrestled well in high school while attending Lassiter High School. As a sophomore, he finished sixth in the 171 lb (78 kg) class. He won the 189 lb (86 kg) division at the Georgia State competition as a junior in 2003, and he repeated as champion as a senior.
