The 55th governor of New Jersey, Christopher James Christie (born September 6, 1962), is an American politician, attorney, political commentator, lobbyist, and former federal prosecutor.
He held office from 2010 to 2018.

After receiving his degree from the University of Delaware in 1984, he went on to the Seton Hall University School of Law and received a J.D. As a county freeholder (legislator) for Morris County, New Jersey, Christie was elected as a Republican and served in that position from 1995 to 1998.
He had run for office under both Presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush by the year 2002. In that year, the latter named him U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, a position he served from 2002 until 2008.

Andrew Christie is the oldest child. He was born in 1993 and graduated from Princeton University in 2015.
He then went on to Seton Hall University School of Law, where he graduated in 2018. Andrew worked as a law clerk for Judge Jose Linares of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey before joining the law firm of Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
Patrick Christie is the second son. He was born in 2000 and graduated from Delbarton School in 2018. Patrick then went on to attend the University of Notre Dame, where he is currently a student.
