Arielle Charnas, the popular influencer and blogger, made headlines after facing backlash for getting a COVID-19 test when kits were limited and needed for those more at risk. Known for launching her clothing brand, her journey has been full of highs and lows.

Arielle Noa Charnas, born on June 13, 1987, in New York, graduated from Syracuse University in 2009. Her journey into the world of fashion began with posting photos of her outfits on her blog, initially to impress an ex-boyfriend. After working in fashion retail, she signed an endorsement deal with TRESemmé, which led to TV ads and increased notoriety.

In 2017, Arielle launched her first clothing collection with Nordstrom, which was a massive success, exceeding $1 million in sales in the first 24 hours. She continued to release collections, with the brand’s value reaching $45 million by 2019. Unfortunately, a backlash over a COVID-19 test led to Nordstrom terminating their partnership in 2020.

Despite the setback, Arielle continued to expand her brand, opening stores in major cities and generating $12 million in sales in the first six months. However, reports of financial troubles began to surface, with debts to vendors and a significant loss of employees. Eventually, all her stores closed, with Something Navy being sold in a “fire sale” for just $1.

On a personal note, Arielle’s cousin Candice Miller recently made headlines following the death of her husband, Brandon Miller, a New York City real estate mogul.

While the details surrounding his death remain unconfirmed, Candice, who is the co-founder and chief marketing officer of a vintage-inspired clothing line, continues to navigate life in the public eye.
