But the 21st Century has taught the world and the Ghanaian celebrity space that what people think about you or say about what you do should not be a determinant of your life.

One celebrity who has faced public ridicule and condemnation for what they describe as “whack rap” is Medikal.

But he seems unfazed by critics and people he has always described as “pull him down”.

In a tweet telling the world to forget about what people say and focus on making the best out of their lives, he said: “Have sex with the right one, drink a lot of water, make money and forget everybody”.
