Ghana Premier League commentator Nana Darkwah Gyasi believes that Medeama SC’s Kamaradini Mamudu deserves a spot in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Gyasi considers Mamudu to be the best right-back in the league this season, expressing his opinion that no other player comes close to his level of performance.
Gyasi emphasized the importance of having competition for places in the national team and highlighted Mamudu’s current form and consistency as key factors that make him a strong candidate for selection. While acknowledging that the final decision rests with Black Stars coach Otto Addo, Gyasi urged Addo to consider Mamudu for the upcoming qualifiers.
The Black Stars are set to face Mali and the Central African Republic on June 6 and June 10, as they aim to improve their position in Group I of the African qualifiers. With Ghana currently sitting in 4th place in the standings, Gyasi believes that including players like Mamudu, who are in top form, will be crucial for the team’s success in the upcoming matches.
